How to speed up the phone by minimizing background processes

The speed of the smartphone depends on the RAM and the processor. The phone will be slower as the two are on. Therefore, we have to keep in mind. On the smartphone we use every kind of app, some of which are running in the background and use RAM. Due to the use of a lot of these RAM, it can be slower if a new app is launched. This tutorial covers how to speed up the phone by minimizing background processes.

Background Process Limit Key

The maximum limit of the number of processes or apps running simultaneously in the background of the phone can be set. This will automatically disable it if more than a certain number of apps are launched. As a result, the RAM is empty and the work speed is increased. However, for low RAM phones this is quite a task.

How to do it?

To enable this feature, you need to unlock Android's 'Developer Mode' setting. For this, you need to tap Build number seven times in 'About phone' settings. Once the pop-up is displayed in Developer mode, you will have to go from the main page of the settings to the Developer settings. There will be a Background Process Limit in the App section. From there you have to select 'No Background Process' or 'At most 1 Process'.

Then the phone will have to be shut down once and restart. Once everything is done properly, the phone will speed up and relieve the pain of slowing down the phone with less RAM. In this case, some tasks like downloading a browser or listening to music player while playing a new app in another app may stop the download process or play music.
