Make Google the default search engine in various browsers easily ..!


Even if we use different browsers, the first choice is to search the Internet, the Google search engine. However, in all browsers you can make 'Google Search Engine' your default browser. The following procedure can be done to make Google your default search engine in different browsers.

Google Chrome: On a Computer-

- First launch the Google Chrome browser
- Click on the 'More' option on the top right
- Then click on Settings.
-Select Google from the list of search engines.

 On mobile

- Launch your Google Chrome browser.
- Tap on the 'More' option on the top right
-Then press on Settings.
From the 'Basics' menu, press Search Engine Options.
- Now select Google as a search engine.

Microsoft Edge

-Browse Google using your Microsoft Edge browser
- Click 'More Actions' on the top right.
-Then click on Settings.
- Click on "View advanced settings" from the "Advanced Settings" menu.
Under "Search in Address Bar With", click on 'Change'.
Click 'Google Search' and set as default.
Firefox: Launch your Firefox browser.
- Click Search from the small search bar in the upper right of the browser.
- Click Change Search Settings.
- Now select Google as the "default search engine".

 Safari

- First launch the Safari browser on your device.
- Click on the search bar.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon in the left-hand corner of the search bar.
- Select Google as the "default search engine".

 Android Browser

- Launch the Android browser app on your phone.
-Press the Menu button in the upper right of the browser.
- Now press Settings.
Click on 'advanced' and then tap on 'set search engine'.
- Tap Google as the "default search engine".
